I stumbled on these at a vet supply house for use on dogs and cats. This seller has them MUCH cheaper. The unflavored ones are great for those pets who won't tolerate a toothbrush. The ridged surface provides some brushing action with toothpaste (the pet variety only - CET is the best!) but they are soft and don't irritate their gums. They are also PERFECT for applying oral rinse for pets - I squirt some on the foam head and then insert into the gum area and scrub away. They don't mind these and it gets the chlorhexidine where it needs to be - at the gum line and on the teeth. They are great for people (for which they were designed) as throw-away oral applicators or emergency brushing. They are also great for applying brass polish and getting into small areas for cleaning. Great product with many uses. With 4 cats and 3 dogs to care for, 500 is a bargain. I get about a week per pet per brush so they are very economical. Right now I am treating a Sheltie with gingivitis, and it's great to be able to swab his teeth and gums then throw them away to prevent further infection. After a weeek of using these, along with vet prescribed antibiotics, his gums are healing and much improved. These are on my "must have for the furries" list. I don't know how I lived without them!!

I have had this shower bench for over 2 months now (I broke my leg in 4 places, so showering has been a challenge...) and I'm totally satisfied with it.It said in the product information that assembly was required, but the only thing I had to do was snap in the backrest.The legs are easily adjustable both for height, and to take care of any difference between the tub and floor level. The adjustment increments are pretty close, so the chair is about as close to level as it could be.There is no evidence of corrosion anywhere, and I was a bit worried about that, as there is a mixture of steel and aluminum in the adjustment mechanism (push-in ball locks on springs).I weigh about 235 and it seems totally stable.I would not hesitate to recommend it at all, and the price was about 60% of what it would have been if I bought it locally. I also received it 3 days after I placed the order (shipped ground UPS), so I recommend the seller highly, as well.

Of course, I also recommend NOT breaking your leg........

I never thought I had Seasonal affective disorder (SAD). I have always been a cheerful early morning riser but this winter I was dragging in the morning even after a full night's sleep and a strong cup of coffee. I live in Seattle where the rate of SAD is quite high in the winter and a number of friends had recommended a "light box". I didn't buy it from Amazon. It came from a Medicare durable equipment place but I wanted to say something here anyway. It is just the thing for someone that can't quite get out of a chair to toilet or get to bed. There is a sling available thatgoes around the back and under the arms that lets a caregiver with limited strength raise the person from a wheelchair and lower the pants and transfer to a bedside toilet and then reverse the process. It really is the answer for a lot of people. It works for getting them from the bed to a wheelchair or vice versa just as well. The big advantage of this lift over a Hoyer type lift is that the pants can be lowered/changed while the patient is suspended with this lift because the sling just goes around the upper back and chest. There is also a second type of sling available that has additional attach points under the thigh for more incapacitated patients but it looks to me like this sling would make it harder to lower pants for toileting or just to change clothes. The Invacare Hoyer type lift is indispensable though for getting the patient off the floor if the patient has slipped or fallen to the floor. Get them both.

I would have liked this pulley better if it had some tension.It pulls too easily.I tied some weight on the end of the cable for resistance.Other than that, the pulley worked fine and the cable can be shortened for your arm length.I would buy it again.

Innovative Knee Walker Review

I had my tibial tendon removed and my arch reformed 3 weeks ago. I have to be non-weight bearing on my foot for a minimum of 3 months. I ordered the knee walker and a set of millenial crutches.I havent used the crutches.The knee walker is wonderful. I am hands free and can even sweep and mop the floor.I don't know what I would have done without it.

I have heard complaints on the swivel wheels, but they are wonderful for getting into small places like bathrooms and for turning quickly.I am considering ordering a straight wheel one for outside slopes, but for inside areas, this walker is the best.It says it will hold up to 300 pounds--I can use it to pull myself up from the floor easily.It folds up quickly and I pull it into the car after me.It is not real light, but I can do it. It may have a few small faults--the bolts weren't as tight as they should have been and I have had to put a caster back on and have lost the screw that fit in the seat bar--I just keep shoving the long bolt back in.

Bailey Nurture III Electric Double Breast/Pump Kit Set Review

I received this pump for a super discount, so I wanted to say, if you can get it for a steal, its pretty decent.
If your going to pay over a $100 as listed on Amazon, I'd consider a Medela instead. I had to rent a hospital grade Lactina breastpump the first 3 months with my baby, so I know the importance of using a strong pump to get your milk supply going. I used this pump when I went back to work months 7-12(baby's age)using it 3 days a week 2 or 3 times a day and even though I have to put in on the highest dial suction strength, it works great, and its still going strong.I don't mind that you have to use your finger to regulate the suction flow, I kinda like it, and I can pump double, using my finger for suction , and read a book no problem.Trust me, you pump enough, you figure out how to multitask. Just make sure to use the purple bases to hold the bottles steady in your lap (I usually sit on the floor). I hope this helps someone out there. Pros: Cheap, does the job, very small, easily portable ( I use a kids soft lunch box). Cons: Not super strong suction, have to use strongest dial, has a tiny parts, could lose easily.

Bed Cane And Bed Cane Organizer Review

While I was in the hospital recovering from knee replacement surgery, my husband bought this Bed Cane for me to help me get in and out of bed upon my return home. When I first saw it I was disappointed in what it looked like. It was not what I expected. I didn't think I was going to like it. But I was wrong. Not only does it not take up a lot of space, but the padded handle feels nice in the hand while gripping it. I use to grab a hold of the Bed Cane and pull myself and my bad leg off the bed into a sitting position. It was firm and held tightly. I then liked the plain and unobtrusive look of the Bed Cane. I don't have the storage bag that fits on it. The only problem with the Bed Cane is that my husband and son found it somewhat difficult to secure it to the other side of the bed. You have to slip the rather large board that it is attached to, under your mattress and above the box spring. It then secures to the other side of the bed frame to keep it secured to the bed. Once attached it works fine. Ourmattress is very heavy as it is one of those very thick mattresses and getting the board and hardware under it and across the bed was difficult. But I found that once attached I liked it a lot and felt it really helped me in getting in and out of bed when movement was exceptionally painful. I would recommend it above any of the metal railings that cover almost 1/3 of the bed.

Invacare Careguard Overbed Table Review

This has proven to be a very useful table to keep next to the bed. I use my laptop on it for hours a night, and keep my alarm clock and bedside mister on it as well. My bed is relatively high and the table easily adjusts to a comfortable height; I work on my computer out on the end of the table (such that I feel I may be putting excessive weight on an unsupported surface) so I keep it fairly low to the bed just so I can add a little extra support with my knee. Not that the table doesn't feel sturdy and supportive and well up to the task. I work in a hospital and clearly this table is not as big and strong as a true hospital table, but it certainly seems stout enough to hold up well to regular home use as a desk or laptop surface, or whatever your needs are. Everyone should have one!

I got this set for nursing school (AS-RN program). I like the BP cuff as it is Velcro, the gauge is clear and sturdy as is the bulb and screw. The stethoscope is pretty good, the only problem i have with it is that occasionally i can only hear out of one ear and must wiggle the tubes to make it work. I like the replacement parts and the changeable earpieces. The ears are not bent forwards or back like other models, which is sometimes a good thing but is sometimes uncomfortable.

Great set for the price, lovely color. I would recommend as these issues are most likely specific to mine and not representative of all.

Rolling Knee Walker Leg Ankle Foot Crutch Caddy Scooter Review

The knee walker was reasonably priced, well made and sturdy.It was easy to assemble.When the back wheels are on the outer leg setting, the walker is very stable. I got jewerly and electronics for Christmas but this was honestly my favorite gift this year.I am a returning college student and this has helped me so much from writing my assignments to using to balance my laptop or storing my writing utensils and paper.I got it in the mail as a gift from a family member that lives in another state, and it was packaged well and arrived right on time from when my family member told me to expect it.I would definitely suggest this lap desk to others.
