I am a devoted cho-pat user.Having had cartilage replaced 8 years ago, I have used this product since to protect both of my knees when I run.I have won over many friends who now use it to protect their knees.They wear well and rarely cause a problem when running.The biggest problem I have is that they do collect moisture on long runs on hot days.They will lose some effectiveness once they get wet.Otherwise, this is a great product.

Medline Weil Knee Walker by Medline - Weil Knee Walker, burgundy - Model MDS86000 Review

I purchased this knee walker prior to surgery and the warning that I would be non-weight bearing for at least 6 weeks. I am a 5'3" woman in her 50's who weighs more than she should, and I had read reviews of other knee scooter/walkers that were "tippy" -- no thanks.

I'm more than half way through my 6 weeks, and the walker is working very well. It is substantial -- no tipping, but not the right choice if you need max portability, which I did not. My friends can easily carry it down my 2 flights of steps upon occasion, and it fits in the back of my mini-van without even folding up.

My PT and I did have a little trouble adjusting the knee pad height exactly perfectly for me -- gears are easy to adjust but a little too far apart(so, a little to high or a little too low for me). That is why I give a 4 rather than 5 star rating. However, it's working out okay. NOTE weight limit of 300 lbs. Comes with toolkit for adjusting brakes (which we have not needed to use).

Padding on knee rest is excellent (this is important!). Turning radius is wide so this would be hard to use in some homes with tight corners or too much furniture -- however, I'm very glad I did not choose an in-line, non-turning model. The front basket is very important too -- easy to put on and off if necessary.

I highly recommend that you purchase a knee walker before your surgery if possible and practice -- find out what needs to be moved in your house and start using those muscles before you have to! I'm very pleased with my choice and would pick this one again.

Almost didn't purchase this model because of no reviews. Now I'm so glad I bought this prior to my foot surgery. I'm 4'11" the height is perfect. I scoot around the house backwards. I can do chores like washing dishes by resting my knee on the seat as I can not place weight on my foot for 6 weeks and this device has been a lifesaver. Well made, simple to assemble, basket is handy to move things from one room to another. Item does have a caution label informing consumers to not utilize as a wheelchair. E-Z Lock Toilet Seat: With Arms Review

I recently purchased this item for my mother. It is an adequate height to provide additional comfort and convenience.The inner circumference of this seat extends deep enough into the toilet bowl that there does not appear to be any likelihood of waste splashing or leaking over the rim. However, the most important aspect which needs to be considered with these seats is safety and stability.None of the similar units I looked at securely lock to the existing toilet. It would seem to me that a design which allowed for bolting the raised seat to the toilet through the standard seat hinge holes would be far more secure.The design of the so-called locking mechanism on this Carex seat is a very narrow ridge at the back which fits under the interior rim of the toilet and, in the front, a narrow sliding clamp with a soft plastic face which presses against the inner surface of the rim.The front clamp is on a threaded plastic rod with a tightening knob on the front of the seat.These provide some friction, at best (consider that the interface is plastic on ceramic), and can be dislodged with very little pressure.When getting on or off the toilet, if uneven weight is placed on any portion of the rim, it is very likely the unit will tip, creating a significant fall risk.The addition of the arms magnifies the hazard, as they provide additional leverage.I would strongly suggest that for safety one of the external frame units with a commode seat would be far more appropriate. (Note that this is an edited and much more negative revision of my original review of this item, based on more experience in use. Also, note that if the patient has a documented medical condition affecting their stability, Medicare may pay for an external frame unit.)

TherapyCycle PC Review

This is a great product.It's durable and very sturdy.I love that it has magnetic resistance in both directions. The customer service is EXCELLENT! I had some questions about programing so I called the company and not only did I get a LIVE person to talk to but I didn't have to be on hold for an hour or wait 3 days for a return phone call.They were polite and helpful and stayed on the line with me until I resolved my issues.

My son loves the interactive features as much as I do. Just one of these in our house may not be enough. I've had slippers similar to these for the past twenty years.This is the only pair I could find on Amazon that have the leather soles, like my old pairs.

This pair differs from previous pairs I've owned in that the seam attaching the sole is on the outside, making for a flatter platform for the foot.Since the stitching is on the outside, it may wear away and fail sooner - time will tell.Previous pairs (with seams inside) have lasted about five years before the leather wore through (I wear them constantly around the house).

This pair fits well and is quite comfortable.This is the first pair that was velcro adjustable, but the adjusting straps work well and once fit and folded over, you won't notice them at all.

Once broken in, slippers like these keep my feet a perfect temperature in both hot and cold weather.I've even worn them comfortably in Hawaii (although people will think you are crazy if you do).

I bought these for my mother in law - she's in a wheelchair and has difficulty closing the doors behind her because of the wheelchair. This makes it really easy for her to close the doors and she liked it so much I ended up putting one on every one of her doors.

Installation was really straight-forward. You just loop one end over the existing door knob (doesn't matter what type of knob it is). Then on the other end you peel the backing off the provided plastic clip and stick it to the door (near the hinge side of the door). That's it. When it isn't being used, it just sits on the door on the little clip. Everything is made out of clear plastic so it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. Overall it has performed well and looks like it will last so I would recommend this to others.

I have had three ruptured discs in my neck. I found the walpilo the only one to offer relief from pain shooting down my arm, along with spasms in the neck. After about 18 years of battling with it, I had surgery to remove the problem discs... Even though my surgery was very successful, I still appreciate the pillow -- especially when I lift too much.

I have found that the pillows do get soft after approximately year-and-a-half, and thus have to be replaced. However, adding some batting along the side you choose to support your neck, can prolong life of the pillow.

The manufacturer should offer two narrow edges, or two wide ones to double the life! But they would sell less pillows!

I have used the walpilo for 20 years, and highly recommend it!
