I have had three ruptured discs in my neck. I found the walpilo the only one to offer relief from pain shooting down my arm, along with spasms in the neck. After about 18 years of battling with it, I had surgery to remove the problem discs... Even though my surgery was very successful, I still appreciate the pillow -- especially when I lift too much.I have found that the pillows do get soft after approximately year-and-a-half, and thus have to be replaced. However, adding some batting along the side you choose to support your neck, can prolong life of the pillow.
The manufacturer should offer two narrow edges, or two wide ones to double the life! But they would sell less pillows!
I have used the walpilo for 20 years, and highly recommend it!
