Great Nova offset cane from the functional standpoint, but butterflies are a little small and not as clear as some butterfly lovers would like...then again, how easy is it to wrap such a pattern around a small diameter stick? It is possible to discern the individual butterflies at close range, and the cane is colorful, which will lead people, perhaps, to comment on the colors...at which time you can inform them that the pattern is that of butterflies. Everyone gets to "ooooh ahhh" over it a bit at that moment, and your disability is forgotten, the cane seen as a piece of art, somehow, and a random conversation concluded in good spirits for all.
