I've worn these for a decade, in a three degrees of absorbency.I think only two have worn out beyond any use.Do take care not to pull them up by the waist band - it will eventually tear.Instead, put your hands flat inside and, pushing outward and up, ease them into place.
Easy to care for - I use Shout, a spot pre-wash, on the fresh stains.It doesn't affect the absorbency.
