I bought the 6x16 size, for icing the side of my knee (to treat ITBS).The positives of this product:
1. convenience - just pop it into the freezer (easier then what I used to do, putting ice in ziploc bag)
2. flexibility - can be used in many places on your body, the long flexible strap allows me to control the positioning
3. comfort - it's comfortable.The gel is soft, even when "frozen".The covering material is soft too.
4. no mess - it can't leak like a bag of ice
The only negative is that it warms more quickly then a bag of ice.To improve this, I fold it over on itself, to make it thicker, before strapping it to my knee.
Overall, I am very satisfied with this product.
