I was a bit skeptical about the stength and quality of the holder.But other users' comment encouraged me to get one and try to help my mom get in and out of a tub after her surgery.The holder fits perfectly well to the both sides and proved to be extremely sturdy.The only potential issue is the way the shower curtains go around the holder.So, whie you are taking a shower, you may not have easy access to the holder since it's covered by the curtain, which means you may need another holder to grab (I placed another grabber on the wall).But, overall, the holder proved to be most useful and worth every penny.
