The nurses aides used this on me at the hospital. I had itchy dry skin already and the medication made me itch more so I was raw in places. This product was used on my trouble spots and I was given what was left when I came home. I thought maybe it would be expensive and hard to find, but I found it on the internet quite easily. Regarding price, if you look for Protective Ointment by Secura you can find the company website and the ointment is cheaper there, however I haven't done the math regarding shipping. If you qualify for free shipping it might be more cost effective to get it from Amazon. The label indicates its for diaper rash, but believe me it's good anywhere on your body that has a tendency to get dry and itchy.
