I have had a box of these that I got twenty years ago, and finally used up just this year. I used them every spring for riding when the pollen made me sneeze and stuff up so bad I couldn't see or hardly breathe. I gradually got to the point I didn't need them for that, but kept them around in my truck. This week, I gave away the rest of the box during the San Diego Fires, and I used mine for about four days straight. It might not have been the best thing I could have used, but it worked to the point that I kept going while we couldn't hardly see the sun. They filter the particles, and they don't itch, although they do make your face sweat under them, at least in hot, dry conditions. I think I may get a case and pass them around.
